Celebrate with Lights

Adam Birks has a computer-controlled light display at his home in the Northridge subdivision of Kalispell. Birks is raising money for the Kalispell Regional Medical Center pediatrics fund.
The display of 15,000 Christmas lights is impressive on its own, but he has added a charitable twist to the light show to make it even better.

Christmas Tree Candle Light

Christmas Tree Candle and Ornament
The origin of attaching lighted candles to an evergreen tree can be traced to Martin Luther. German legend claims that on his way home one evening, Martin Luther was overwhelmed by the beauty of the evergreen tree and the stars in the sky. Not able to find the words to express his emotions, he went out and cut down the tree. He brought it home to share with his family and to replicate the starlit heaven, he decorated the evergreen tree with candles. This is believed to be the first traditional Christmas tree in Germany. Throughout the years, it remained tradition to decorate the tree with candles.

Decorating a Christmas tree with candles remains popular today. Due to safety reasons, however, it is not practical in many cases.
You can see in our video below, we have prepared by having a bucket of water, and fire extinquisher and our host continually sprays down the tree with water.
